Emmaline Young’s practice encompasses a broad range of insurance coverage and financial services litigation. Prior to joining DKM, Emmaline was involved in a variety of complex disputes ranging from motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, premise liability, and construction defects. Since joining DKM, Emmaline has applied her prior insurance knowledge and experience to insurance coverage issues in both state and federal court.

Emmaline graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2021 after graduating from California Polytechnic State University with her B.S. in Biochemistry in 2018. In law school, she participated in multiple oral argument competitions, including the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition, where her teams won their regional competitions and moved on to the national competition. Emmaline also assisted low income individuals and families in a variety of tax disputes at Gonzaga’s University Legal Assistance – Tax Law Clinic.

In her free time, Emmaline enjoys finding new cookbooks to cook her way through and — weather permitting — spending a day on the golf course.
